Drill Pipe
Drill pipe is the basic part consisting drill column, the main function is deepening well hole, transmit torque and forming drilling liquid circulation passage. Drill pipe is made by steel pipe and tool joints, steel pipe and tool joints are welded together by friction welding. Mechanical properties of steel pipe, tool joints and weld seam meet the requirement of API Spec 5DP. We could manufacture drill pipe according to the requirement of customers.

Heavy Weight Drill Pipe

  • Material:  AISI 4145H Alloy steel, Non magnetic steel, etc.
  • Use: Heavy weight drill pipe is mainly used between dill collar and dill pipe to ease transition stress concentration and reduce the rate between contact area and outer wall wear, which can effectively prevent the pressure sticking.
  • Standard:  API Spec 7-1 or SY/T 5146 Standard.

Kelly
  • Designed according to advanced Modular-element principle with six ribs laid on tubes.
  • The advantages of our Kelly bar, such as low weight, high strength, high abrasion-resistance, and high-reliability are safeguarded.
  • Take use of alloy seamless tube imported from Germany Mannesmann or locally-made. Special hot-treatment enhances the material's strength more than 800Mpa.
  • Ribs made of alloy hot-treated specially enjoy both high hardness and perfect welding performance, high abrasion-resistance leads to high-reliability.
  • Square-stub through forging and heat treating has excellent mechanical properties.
  • Small clearance and high-precision mating of the drill pipe ensure its good working order and service performance.
